Networked Control System: Survey and Directions
This paper extends a survey on Networked Control Systems (NCSs) published in previous papers. General frameworks and some fundamental issues for the study of NCSs are proposed. A significant emphasis has been on developing control methodologies to study the character of NCSs. This survey paper presents recent NCSs control methodologies, some promising research directions are also covered.
متن کاملTinyOS – An Operating System for Tiny Embedded Networked Sensors
This paper discusses the background and application requirements that motivated the development of TinyOS. It enumerates the characteristics associated with any typical Networked Sensor application. The hardware platform that was used for deploying TinyOS is also described. The design aspects of the Event based TinyOS is discussed in detail. This paper also enlightens the Tiny Active Messaging ...
متن کاملRobust Model for Networked Control System with Packet Loss
The Networked Control System in modern control widely uses to decrease the implementation cost and increasing the performance. NCS in addition to its advantages is inevitable. Nevertheless they suffer of some limitations and deficiencies. Packet loss is one of the main limitations which affect the control system in different conditions and finally may lead to system instability. For this reason...
متن کاملA Networked, Open Architecture Knowledge Management System
The development of knowledge-based systems involves the management of a diversity of knowledge sources, computing resources and system users, often geographically distributed. The knowledge acquisition, modeling and representation communities have developed a wide range of tools relevant to the development and management of large-scale knowledge-based systems, but the majority of these tools ru...
متن کاملModern Directions for Potentiometric Sensors.
This paper gives an overview of the newest developments of polymeric membrane ion-selective electrodes. A short essence of the underlying theory is given, emphasizing how the electromotive force may be used to assess binding constants of the ionophore, and how the selectivity and detection limit are related to the underlying membrane processes. The recent developments in lowering the detection ...
